A deploy with too tight validation of incoming meter.flash messages caused multiple of these messages to be dropped from about 1.2% of Teleport devices between 8:33Z and 8:40Z. Forwarding to 1.6% of destinations was halted for the same period. We have reverted the deploy, will adjust the validation and evaluate.
